The overall focus will be on helping improve existing data science and data engineering projects, developing new tools, and maintaining current analytics infrastructure. Experience in sports is not required, but applicants should be passionate about basketball and the data industry.
The Sports Science Analyst will collaborate with other groups within Baseball Research and Baseball Systems to analyze data and provide data-enabled insights and recommendations on training and injury prevention strategies. This department enables the organization to leverage data, analytics, and research techniques to identify and develop players who will contribute to the long term on-field success of the Minnesota Twins.
