Research Affinity Cohorts (RACs) engage HBCU faculty and staff in hands-on data science research by connecting multidisciplinary investigators to develop research that solves real problems in data sets and strives to remove bias and promote ethics, fairness, and validity. The RAC members will be actively involved in developing new research findings with actionable steps for a sustainable research program.
This is an important professional development opportunity for HBCU faculty in the study of data science. SACP Clubs are advised by Faculty at Morgan State, Howard, Southern University, UDC, UMES, Johnson C. Smith, SUNO, Xavier University, Tuskegee, and Virginia Union.
